How it Works

MechMotions is a STEM assembly kit which allows kids to engage with cool mechanical ideas by physically building the concepts and getting to feel them by hand. The kit comes with varies pieces like gears and sliders, and the learner follows a guide to explore the different assemblies. 

A major part of the idea is that the kit comes with a pamphlet that includes detailed explanations for each mechanism, which allows for learners to not only understand the mechanism but also how it can be applied in real life. The combination of physical fascination and understanding of it in the real world allows for the development of creativity in a child's mind.

When a child gets to build mechanisms that they find interesting, and learn about how they are applied in real life, it can also foster an interest in other mechanical concepts in the real world that can be explored.
